But the Forever stamps will still be valid for first-class postage after that. And they can be bought for 41 cents until the new rates take place, postal officials said. The post office has sold 5 billion Forever stamps since they were introduced last April and it plans to have an additional 5 billion in stock to meet the expected demand before the May price change, the agency said. The charge for other services, such as advertising mail, periodicals, packages special services will also change. Changes in the price for Priority Mail and Express Mail will be announced later, the agency said. IdleAire to eliminate 40 positions
IdleAire Technologies Corp. announced Thursday it was cutting 40 positions in a move expected to save the Knoxville-based company $4 million a year. Half the jobs are currently vacant and will not be filled, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The filing did not provide details on which positions are being eliminated. IdleAire spokesman John Doty declined to comment Thursday because of SEC restrictions while the company is considering going public. The company has not said when it plans to go public, how many shares of stock will be offered or at what price. In its SEC filing, the company said its reorganization will include consolidating various departments and functions, although it did not offer details. Employees affected by the cutback will receive a severance package based on their job and longevity with the company and job placement assistance, the company said.
Voters pass school expansion referendums in Unit 5
UPDATED 11:15 p.m. NORMAL -- Voters gave Normal-based Unit 5 school district a solid go-ahead to build new schools and renovate existing schools, but only barely approved a tax increase to cover extra operating expenses.The mood of about 30 supporters of Unit 5's referendum stayed optimistic Tuesday night as they watched results come in at Sugar Creek Elementary School. In a gym decorated with balloons in the district's colors of orange and black, the activists watched results on a big projection screen or huddled around a computer.The referendum to issue $96.7 million in building bonds passed 11,796 to 8,351, and the proposal to raise property taxes by 10 cents per $100 equalized assessed valuation passed 10,402 to 9,888.“We're very glad and happy with the outcome. It reflects the community's value of a strong education system," said Carl Tiechman, co-chairman of the Citizens for Unit 5, from the poll-watching party.

Answer: No, I dont. The Patriots might not be at 100 percent, but theyre still the Patriots. Theyre still a quality team that will be playing at home on Monday Night Football. Theyve still got Tom Brady and all of those receivers and Corey Dillon still can be productive. The defense always finds a way to get the job done.
